The New York Liberty and the Minnesota Lynx meet Friday for Game 4 of the best-of-5 WNBA Finals. Tip-off at Target Center in Minneapolis is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET (ESPN). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s WNBA odds around the Liberty vs. Lynxodds, and make our expert WNBA picks and predictions.
Playoff series: Liberty lead 2-1; Lynx won regular-season series 2-1, also won Commissioner’s Cup June 25 at Barclays Center
The Lynx led 43-35 at halftime in Game 3, but the Liberty rebounded with an 80-77 win to regain home-court advantage in the series while pushing Minnesota to the brink of elimination.
New York shot 45.9% (28 of 61) from the field and 40.0% (10 of 25) from the 3-point line while going a perfect 14-of-14 from the free-throw line. F Breanna Stewart was her normal, dominant self, going for 30 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. She also hit 2 triples and went 10 of 10 from the charity stripe.
G Sabrina Ionescu finished with 13 points, 1 of 4 starters to go for 13 or more. Ionescu hit a game-winning 3-pointer from in between the center court logo and the top of the key with less than 2 seconds remaining to break a 77-77 tie. It also helped erase a 16-point lead for the Lynx.
For the Lynx, they shot 38.7% (29 of 75) from the field and 42.9% (9 of 21) from downtown. F Napheesa Collier led the way with 22 points while G Kayla McBride stepped up with 19. She is averaging 16.3 PPG in this series.

Lynx 80, Liberty 76
The LYNX (+125) are worth a look at plus-money, as their backs are against the wall. Minnesota is on its home court, and it nearly got the job done in Game 3. Don’t expect to see an epic collapse like it had Wednesday.
The Lynx came within a whisker of winning Game 3 despite the fact F Alanna Smith was good for just 2 points before fouling out. Oddly enough, she had a plus-20 rating and was not on the court during the epic collapse down the stretch.
The Lynx +2.5 (-105) should be avoided in Game 4. If you like Minnesota, just play it straight up, unless you honestly feel the Liberty -2.5 (-115) will win by just 1 or 2 points. There’s better value on Minnesota ML.
The Lynx are 4-2 ATS in 6 home games, while the Liberty are 1-2 ATS in postseason road games.

UNDER 159.5 (-115) is a solid play in Game 4 with the intensity continuing to build as we near the crowning of a champion.
The Under has cashed in the past 2 games, both Minnesota losses, with the Lynx going for 71.5 PPG and the Liberty averaging 80.0 PPG in the span. The Under has cashed in 3 of the past 4 meetings in the Twin Cities, too.
